This approach is a flexible and sustainable solution over stringent diets to maintain long-term compliance and total health.

The 80/20 principle recognises that no one is perfect and that occasional indulgences are part of life. “Rather than feeling deprived, you can indulge in your favourite foods in moderation, avoiding restriction and subsequent binge eating.
